St Francis Way Pilgrimage : A life changing experience

evolution

I am a pretty lucky guy, I have just spent 8 years in the Middle East and have an opportunity to take timeout and explore the world before I head back to corporate life in Australia.

I have chosen to ‘reset’, ‘detox’, ‘plunge into the icy waters’ or whatever you want to call it.

I am going to walk the 560km St Francis Way from Florence to Rome through Tuscany, and Umbria across the Apennine mountains during the month of October 2017. It a hard walk and quite isolated compared to other classic pilgrimage walk in Europe.

After spending a fair bit of time planning the trip there is a clear lack of depth in the information on the region and walk. That and the desire to learn a new skill and become a stronger digital native inspired me to create this blog.

Who knows where it may lead … a self funded travel lifestyle … or just sore feet. But certainly plenty of time to reflect on life

Join me in the journey and become inspired to break free and live one of your dreams.
